That brilliant moment when you have bought some new cutters, so you feel the need to use them almost immediately! I bought these new cutters, so made some cupcakes and then attacked them with the shapes. However, I felt that I also needed some more substance, so when an occasion came up to make a cake, I grasped the opportunity and used the new cutters again :)

Because I love my Abbie!
When deciding what to do for someone you love, things can get pretty entertaining. I was asked to make some birthday cupcakes for a really special friend of mine's 18th birthday, so whilst looking through ideas of what to do, I gave in after a while to some good old puns. So, here are my bees, for my Abbie! A bee, geddit?? :P

A bit of royal icing!
Sometimes there is no choice but to experiment when you've got a spare batch of cupcakes :P So when I found myself with the option to do anything with them, I decided it was time to experiment with some royal icing. So, here is the result of some fun shapes and consistencies of royal icing!
A naughty treat
I once found myself extremely bored and thought I would make something a little random, but it would have to be really sweet and chocolatey. We found a recipe for sweet pastry and then came across a really thick mousse, so I decided to combine them! After making it, I found myself in need of a way to present it, as this is something I may be a little obsessed with! So, here it is, after much deliberation over presentation and other things like cream, it is finished!

My first post!
Well Hello web universe. I am new to blogging, but I suppose this is a good way to start. I just thought I would share some of my creations with you all and see what you think about them! As my first post, I thought I would show you a cake which I made for a school project based on WW1. It was sad to see it get eaten, but very satisfying seeing my history teacher's face.
